TRAILHEAD TO CAMP | NORTH PALISADE | STARLIGHT | THUNDERBOLT | CAMP TO TRAILHEAD We were all pretty tired and decided we didn't have enough left in us to climb Polemonium. Besides, Mike had already climbed it. So, it looks like Brooke and I will be back again. After a good night of sleep, we headed out the next morning. That's Brooke testing the water as we tried to find a better way to cross the creek in Sam Mack Meadow. I guess this will have to do... Back down to the green... And finally, a view up the South Fork Canyon towards Middle Palisade (where we headed the a month later) and Norman Clyde. So, it turned out to be a great weekend. We took our list of 14ers left to be climbed down to only two: Middle Palisade and Polemonium. And I think Brooke and I have decided that these peaks were the most fun to climb and this area is the most scenic we've found anywhere in the Sierra's.
